I had always wanted to go visit the West Coast. I had dreams of going to the Pacific ocean and watching an epic West Coast Sunset. I had always been on the East Coast and would wake up early mornings to see the sunrise over the Atlantic. Finally I was going out west. I had flown into San Francisco a few days earlier and decided to make my way up to Washington State. On the way I decided that in Oregon I would go on a Goonies adventure and visit Cannon Beach and Astoria. When I arrived in Cannon Beach the weather was awful. In January of 2018 I had found Cape Disappointment after a long rainy drive through Oregon and decided to go a bit further north and drove into Washington where the weather cleared and I was able to see my first amazing West Coast Sunset. The following year in August of 2019 I decided to take another Pacific Northwest Trip. This day started off with a sunrise at Mt Rainier only fog took over and I never saw a sunrise. So kinda bummed I headed over to Cape Disappointment and found the North Head Lighthouse.
