Celandine Hoodies

Whether male or female there's always time for a bit of flower power! What better than a mix of white and yellow celandine...? I deliberately kept things white and bright with an f/1.4 aperture ISO 64 and focal length just under 50mm with a 'super duper tak' ;-) (y)

This composition had me wanting much more from the depiction that I sat behind the camera thinking about something impressionistic ~ I for one cannot draw for toffee, nor am I very artistic... but I felt compelled to look through the camera and find something that I would work on some more to get exactly what I was after... or more or less, and this was just about it... "A celandine impression"

I know our national flower is the daffodil and I do like them too... but I get fed up of seeing them everywhere in springtime because they're planted almost everywhere all the sodding time! Whatever happened to wildflower diversity??? Or even that of deliberate wildflower diversity or cultivated planting...??? Wish the councils would get a little more inventive and start thinking about adding - some diversity to our ever decreasing patchy urban areas!? Here's another lovely wild wilderness flower that blossoms in bold yellow too - the lesser celandine :) How's about this one for some FLOWER POWER...!!!?
