Description: Our Lady of Perpetual Help (also known as Our Lady of Perpetual Succour) is a Roman Catholic title of our Blessed Mother Mary as represented in a celebrated 15th-century Byzantine icon also associated with the same Marian apparition. National Patroness of Haiti and Almoradi, Spain. This design makes a great gift for 1st Holy Communion, Confirmation, Baptism, RCIA, or for anyone Catholic
Description: A common neon sign at inner-city churches and missions alike, this design includes the Jesus Saves typographic lock-up along with a crown and the initialism INRI (Latin: Iēsus Nazarēnus, Rēx Iūdaeōrum) which represents the Latin inscription from John 19:19 which in English translates to "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews." I found a similar one at a thrift store in Seattle from one of the local missions once and it was like finding the holy grail. It became one of my favorite used pieces to hunt down, but they were few and far between then and near impossible nowadays to say the least, so mark this one as another classic that's come back from the dead.
Description: The crown surmounting the cross represents both the Crown of Thorns and the Crown of Glory. The circle surmounted by a cross signifies the orb often depicted in Our Lords hand in tradition Christian art. Wikipedia: "The globus cruciger (Latin for 'cross-bearing orb'), also known as stavroforos sphaira (Greek: σταυροφόρος σφαίρα) or "the orb and cross", is an orb surmounted by a cross. It has been a Christian symbol of authority since the Middle Ages, used on coins, in iconography, and with a sceptre as royal regalia." The colour red symbolizes the precious blood.
