Artist Statement: "I was inspired to create this work because of tradition of the Chinese lantern festival and the significance of the snake as the animal of the 2025 year. I've been enlightened by the historical purpose and values that are displayed in different events. I mimicked an art style I used last year in my artwork "The wandering rabbit", displayed in the JCC for a youth art contest and implied it into this work."
