Description: Nowruz (Norouz) is the Iranian New Year. It is celebrated worldwide by various ethno-linguistic groups usually around March 21, the first day of spring. Nowruz has Iranian and Zoroastrian origins; Yet it has been celebrated in many other countries such as :Turkey, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, etc. Norouz or Persian new year is an ancient and the most important celebration of year for Iranians. Persian calligraphy is a delight to the sight and cherishes the eyes. It's noble and the letters are softly curved in each word, you won't find such a beauty everywhere. The poet of this poem, Omar Khayyam, was a Persian mathematician, philosopher, and poet. His poetry is better known in the West than any other non-Western poet.
