Dorchester Hoodies

The Abbey Church of St Peter and St Paul in the village of Dorchester-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. It is also the village's parish church. This beautiful old church has a long history, originally dating back to AD635. However, the Abbey itself was founded in 1140, built by an Order of Augustinian Canons. Its medieval heritage is seen inside - particularly by an effigy of a knight. A Jesse window's stone tracery depicts the stem of Jesse and is a feature of the building.

Explore the history of George's Folly, a distinctive retail store founded by the late George J. Dickely in 1962 at the intersection of Longwood Avenue and Harvard Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, George's Folly closed its doors in 1994, following which the space was taken over by Bruegger's Bagels.
