Tee for the late lamented Ruby's Surf City Diner, at the end of the Huntington Beach Pier. Defunct, and permanently closed in early 2021, after 30 years of fries and shakes. Great gift for Huntington Beach folks, fans of retro 50s diners. Weathered distressed effect.

The Melody Lane Cafes (there were several in the Los Angeles area) were owned and operated by the Pig'n Whistle Corporation. First acquired in 1927, Melody Lane was an established downtown cafe near the music publishing companies and was a popular hangout for musicians and radio personalities. When prohibition was repealed, Melody Lane began building cocktail lounges within their units. They were one of the first Los Angeles restaurants to do so. Serving home-style Italian cuisine, steaks, and breakfast until 4 a.m., this suit and tie jazz joint was the place to go for the late-night crowd that was a mix of Hollywood stars and hard-partying Angelenos.

Bun'n Burger has been a Los Angeles icon for decades. This design includes their original bun man with a nice vintage treatment to give it a true old school vintage look.

Patrons were incredibly loyal to The Broken Drum on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica and were shaken when the restaurant closed in 1986, according to local newspaper reports we've seen. The hamburger joint was a long-standing institution and is even now remembered fondly by former customers. With its open fire and wood-burning ovens and fresh flowers on every table, the restaurant served food until 4am and many aspiring actors and actresses used it as a place to meet and fret about their careers. The menu cover, showing a clown beating a broken drum, with the words "you can't beat it," is thought to be from the 1940s.

The Hollywood Canteen operated at 1451 Cahuenga Boulevard in the Los Angeles, California, neighborhood of Hollywood between October 3, 1942, and November 22, 1945 (Thanksgiving Day), as a club offering food, dancing and entertainment for servicemen, usually on their way overseas. Even though the majority of visitors were US servicemen, the canteen was open to servicemen of allied countries as well as women in all branches of service. A serviceman's ticket for admission was his uniform and everything at the canteen was free of charge.

Winkie's on Sunset Blvd. is the Googie style diner where much of the 2001 film Mulholland Drive's action takes place. In real life, it's neither actually a restaurant called Winkie's, nor is it on Sunset Blvd. It was actually shot at an old restaurant, which at the time was called Caesar's, though it was located a long ways from Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. The actual location was about 20 miles south at 1016 W. El Segundo Blvd. in Gardena.

Coffee Dan's roots go back to when Daniel Davis, aka Coffee Dan, opened a cabaret in San Francisco in 1879 in the basement below his coffee shop. Eventually, Dan, and later his son, John, focused on the coffee shop and shuttered the cabaret. During WWII, war production saw a demand for 24-hour diners, and Coffee Dan’s began opening several locations in Los Angeles. Open all day, every day, the diners became popular with night shift workers during the war, and continued to be the hang-out spot for late night revelers post-war. Other locations opened around the country, and followed the same formula, but by the end of the '70s, all Coffee Dan’s closed. This design is based on the early '60s rebrand, which saw Coffee Dan as a cartoon mascot.
