War in My Head / I’m Your Enemy 1991 Hoodie
Main Tag:

Description: After taking a bite out of country and doing a little spoken word, ‘War in My Head – I’m Your Enemy’ completes the picture of GG Allin. Applying his hell spawned talents as a scat slinging messiah of misanthropy beyond scummified punk rock and into more experimental places. This album is a 40-minute-long sound collage of Allin’s spoken pieces patched together by the obscure band Shrinkwrap, with some assistance from the man himself. It’s a cool idea certainly, and it had potential to be something great, but sadly the efforts of both GG Allin and Shrinkwrap fall short here.

Midnight Video 1983 Hoodie
Main Tag:

Description: Long before streaming movies and online shopping was a thing, you had to hunt and peck for hard to find movies on VHS, especially those in the horror genre. If you were lucky, you had a mom and pop video store in your neighborhood that shared an interest in obscure cinema and carried stuff that the chain video rental places didn’t. For most of us, this meant finding a distribution company that sold direct via mail order, and Midnight Video was one such distributor. Midnight Video specialized in hard to find movies on VHS, most of which were horror films. They sold through ads in the back of horror magazines and comic books, so Cinephiles would send off a check or money order, and wait for their tapes to arrive.

Midnight Video 1982 Hoodie

Description: Long before streaming was a thing, you had to hunt and peck for hard to find movies on VHS, especially those in the horror genre. If you were lucky, you had a mom and pop video store that shared an interest in obscure cinema and carried stuff that the chain video rental places didn't. For most of us, this meant finding a VHS mail order business. A subsidiary of Los Angeles based adult film distributor, Select-a-Tape, Midnight Video specialized in low-budget exploitation horror films in stylish VHS display packaging. They sold through mail order ads in the back of horror magazines and comic books. Cinephiles would check off the boxes next to the titles they wanted, write a check, and then send off their order.

Gobemouche - Funny Retro Sheep Obscure Word Art Hoodie
Main Tag:

Description: Gobemouche (noun): A French-derived word for a gullible person who believes everything they hear; literally, a "fly-swallower." With its mouth agape in wide-eyed wonder, this innocent sheep stands mesmerized under floating, iridescent psychedelic swirls and bubbles. Wrapped in intricate Art Nouveau patterns and soft, dreamy pastel tones, this piece brings a delightfully obscure 19th-century word.

Tags: 70s typography, art nouveau, french slang, gobemouche, gullible
Cheesy Poofs Logo inspired by South Park Hoodie

Description: Cheesy Poofs are a fictional brand of cheese-flavored snacks and were first mentioned in the Season One pilot episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", when Eric Cartman ate them while watching television. They were also the first words in English that Starvin' Marvin learns in the ninth episode of the season. Cartman auditioned for the chance to sing the Cheesy Poofs Theme Song in a Cheesy Poofs advertisement in the Season Two episode, "Roger Ebert Should Lay off the Fatty Foods" but his lines were cut leaving only the last word of the song saying "Lame".
