Obscure Tank Tops
Description: Jan. 1851: Russian author Leo Tolstoy confides to his diary that he'd fallen in love at a party, and then as an afterthought - "Bought a horse which I don't need at all." Ah yes, unnecessary horse; who hasn't been there?! Style variations available.

Description: After taking a bite out of country and doing a little spoken word, ‘War in My Head – I’m Your Enemy’ completes the picture of GG Allin. Applying his hell spawned talents as a scat slinging messiah of misanthropy beyond scummified punk rock and into more experimental places. This album is a 40-minute-long sound collage of Allin’s spoken pieces patched together by the obscure band Shrinkwrap, with some assistance from the man himself. It’s a cool idea certainly, and it had potential to be something great, but sadly the efforts of both GG Allin and Shrinkwrap fall short here.

Description: Long before streaming movies and online shopping was a thing, you had to hunt and peck for hard to find movies on VHS, especially those in the horror genre. If you were lucky, you had a mom and pop video store in your neighborhood that shared an interest in obscure cinema and carried stuff that the chain video rental places didn’t. For most of us, this meant finding a distribution company that sold direct via mail order, and Midnight Video was one such distributor. Midnight Video specialized in hard to find movies on VHS, most of which were horror films. They sold through ads in the back of horror magazines and comic books, so Cinephiles would send off a check or money order, and wait for their tapes to arrive.
Description: Inspired by that episode of The Brady Bunch, here is the t shirt that would on be the group's merchandise page! With 'The Silver Platters' on the front, and all six on back with a quote from the song that one can't help but sing when reading it! Perfect for the 'Obscure pop-culture reference' fan!

If you were lucky, you had a mom and pop video store that shared an interest in obscure cinema and carried stuff that the chain video rental places didn't. For most of us, this meant finding a VHS mail order business. A subsidiary of Los Angeles based adult film distributor, Select-a-Tape, Midnight Video specialized in low-budget exploitation horror films in stylish VHS display packaging. They sold through mail order ads in the back of horror magazines and comic books. Cinephiles would check off the boxes next to the titles they wanted, write a check, and then send off their order.
