A full foliage Tree of Life is bordered by an Ouroboros (the snake that devours itself). The tree is the embodiment of Gaia, the earth, earth energy. The Ouroboros (in this composition) represents the "whole" or All. The Triskelion hinted in the root area represents the past, present and future. Paradise is so easily lost, so often taken for granted. This work is a homage to our home, Gaia (Earth), which by all definitions is a paradise. A fragile paradise.
