Rik Mayall // 80s Style Aesthetic Fan Design

The phrase originated in an episode of the British television comedy series The Young Ones. The episode, entitled "Cash", was first broadcast in 1984. The segment of dialogue, where Neil is composing a letter to his bank manager to request a loan, is as follows; Neil: I know, why not "Boomshanka"? It means, "May the seed of your loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman." Mike: He'll never understand "Boomshanka". You'll have to write the whole thing out. Neil: Right, okay, here we go. "Darling Fascist Bullyboy: Give me some more money, you bastard. May the seed of your loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman, Neil."

The Young Ones / Extreme Violence

Rik Mayall - portrayed Rick, studying sociology and/or domestic sciences (depending on the episode) with characteristic that had him as hypocritical, radical, attention-seeking, and a self-proclaimed anarchist. Mayall portrayed his character as being mostly critical towards the others, often insulting Neil, but also occasionally Vyvyan (despite him retaliating violently to his criticism), who proclaimed himself as a vegetarian and an avid fan of Cliff Richard, while constantly adapts himself to different political beliefs, depending on how they will benefit him in a particular situation, despite displaying little understanding of them.

If you're old now, and not such a young one anymore, then it's just quite possible you will remember The Young Ones and love this shirt. If you're a young one and love this show and like this shirt then you're awesome and we love you.
