Sexual Assault Hoodies
Air assault is the movement of ground-based military forces by vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft—such as the helicopter—to seize and hold key terrain which has not been fully secured, and to directly engage enemy forces behind enemy lines. In addition to regular infantry training, air-assault units usually receive training in rappelling and air transportation, and their equipment is sometimes designed or field-modified to allow better transportation within aircraft.
The Battle of Ia Drang comprises two main engagements conducted by the 1/7 Air Cavalry Battalion that took place on November 14–15 at LZ X-Ray ("eastern foot of the Chu Pong massif") and by the 2/7 Air Cavalry Battalion on November 17, 1965 at LZ Albany further north in the Ia Drang Valley. It was the first major battle between the United States Army and the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN/NVA) of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War as part of the U.S. airmobile offensive code-named Operation Silver Bayonet I (October 23 – November 18, 1965). The battle was part of the second phase of the search-and-destroy "Pleiku Campaign", otherwise code-named "Operation Long Reach", that took place from October 23 to November 26. The Pleiku Campaign was named "Pleime Campaign" by Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) II Corps Command, with a slightly different timeframe (from October 20 to November 26). The appellation of "Operation Long Reach" derives from trường chinh (in Vietnamese) and was assigned – on October 27 at the end of the siege of the Pleime camp – by the II Corps Command to the 1st Air Cavalry Division with the mission to pursue the enemy into the Chu Pong – Ia Drang complex

The War in Afghanistan (or the American war in Afghanistan) is the period in which the United States invaded Afghanistan after the September 11 attacks. Supported initially by close allies, they were later joined by NATO beginning in 2003. It followed the Afghan Civil War's 1996–2001 phase. Its public aims were to dismantle al-Qaeda and to deny it a safe base of operations in Afghanistan by removing the Taliban from power. Key allies, including the United Kingdom, supported the U.S. from the start to the end of the phase. This phase of the War is the longest war in United States history.
