St. Georgios and the Wyrm. Inspired by the small joke poem by the medieval orthodox monks and beautiful ancient Orthodox Art of Lettering. The inscription starts at the top left. Verbatim translation: " Saint Georgios in fight, On a dashing sits steed, Holds in hand the spear, Pokes the Wyrm in the ass." My understanding of this medieval verse - is that sometimes flogging is worse than killing. Shame is worse than death. "Make the scary funny, and it stops being scary."
