Yin Yang Butterfly Hoodies

This is design for all those people interested in the internal arts, Chinese philosophy and/or yogic practices. This version of the yin-yang was designed by me many years ago for my taijiquan class t-shirts. I added the butterflies as I felt that it conjured up the characteristics of lightness, calmness and evasiveness. [Image is distressed in order to give it more of a "worn" look]

Butterflies symbolically represent the soul and transformation and of course the Yin and Yang symbol ( Taijitu ) represents paradox. light & dark, male & female and our opportunity to find harmony. So for me this design is about leaning into the energy all around us, to find balance within and to grow - to extend our consciousness beyond the borders of our understanding. It’s about sitting quietly in the moonlight and silently meditate. It is a blend of several philosophies , a bit Tao, a bit Wiccan and very mystical.
