A friend sent me a photo she had taken of her two Clydesdale colts eating hay in the morning pasture. She said, "I love the way the light is hitting them, can you paint this for me?" I said I'd give it a shot, and she loves it, so it will get matted and framed and sent off to her in Indiana. It made me smile to see those two big (well, one BIG, one small) butts side by side, eating their hay so companionably. Carter is the yearling on the left, and the older, darker one is Alex.
