Bottom Of A Cottage Garden Kids Hoodie

At the bottom of the garden in a country cottage we find a brick and tile construction which at one time housed the one and only toilet. This would have been an earth closet. Now most, like the one here provide storage for garden tools. Can you imagine having to make a visit in wet or very cold weather? And a bit cobweb-y and spidery in there to say the least! This image was captured when the foxgloves were just finishing flowering - still very fertile soil round here after all this time!
