Tree and Rock on the Blue Ridge Parkway Kids Hoodie

This image depicts a solitary tree by the side of the road somewhere near the western end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. While driving the parkway, I was really taken with the view to the south at this point. The tree overlooked a magnificent vista of blue fringed mountains, but in that moment, it was the tree, in its lonely isolation, that piqued my interest. The layering of green foreground, blue mountains, and a turbulent sky, with the tree and rock placed on this simple landscape that made it for me. I hope you enjoy it too!
