The Internet: Vague but exciting... T-Shirt
Internet T-Shirt
designed and sold by PeregrineStudios
In March of 1989, Tim Berners-Lee, a contractor at CERN, wrote a powerful essay titled: 'Information Management: A Proposal'. This document married the concepts of Hypertext and the nascent Internet to create what we know today as: the World-Wide Web. On the original proposal, Mike Sendall, Tim's boss, wrote these words in the top margin, tacitly giving Berners-Lee permission to move forward with his proposal - and create the most quickly adopted, and revolutionary, form of communication in human history. 'Vague but exciting,' indeed. If you're interested, you can review the original proposal (in web format) here: http://info.cern.ch/Proposal.html
