Codeine Kids Hoodies
Description: Frigid Stars LP is the debut album by American indie rock band Codeine. It was released in August 1990 on Glitterhouse in Europe and in Spring 1991 on Sub Pop in the US. The album was released to generally positive reviews and is regarded as being one of the pioneering albums in the slowcore and sadcore genres. It was chosen by Pitchfork in 2008 as one of the 20 best Sub Pop albums.
Description: Codeine was an American indie rock band formed in 1989 in New York City. The band released two full-length albums - Frigid Stars in 1990 and The White Birch in 1994. Although the group broke up in 1994, shortly after the release of The White Birch, their subdued and melancholic style helped pioneer the then-nascent slowcore subgenre of indie rock and has without question influenced many other bands along the way.

Description: A celestial composition featuring large, shadowy stars silhouetted against a gradient of warm orange and brown. The text "CODEINE FRIGID STARS LP" is prominently displayed in bold blue lettering with stars integrated within the letters. Small shimmering particles add depth to the background.
Description: I Love Lean!!! refers to a catchphrase and series of memes including image macros and TikTok videos ironically expressing an exaggerated love for lean or purple drank, a drink made of prescription-strength cough syrup containing codeine often mixed with Sprite and Jolly Ranchers. The meme, which often pairs purple characters with the phrase "I love lean," began on iFunny in November 2021 and spread over the following months, going viral on TikTok in February 2022 and spreading to other social media platforms. The meme is similar to the 2010 I Love Co***** format.
Description: Some records feel like winter that never ends. The Quiet Collapse captures the bleak, beautiful stillness of early '90s slowcore through a barren tree, a distant moon, a frozen horizon, and layers of battered screen-print texture. Inspired by the understated world of underground alternative music, this vintage-style graphic is made for Codeine fans, slowcore devotees, indie vinyl collectors, and listeners who find something powerful in music that refuses to rush.
