Nothing about us without us is for us — the rallying cry of those of us dedicated to disability justice. Disability eventually comes to us all with age — but it can also come at any time with no warning. It can be temporary, or it can last the rest of your life. Disabled folks MUST be included in every walk of life, at every level of planning for anything (ESPECIALLY in the beginning stages!), and accommodated. None of us should be excluded from aspects of life because of inaccessibility — and especially not because we've been forgotten.
