A true icon of British television, Jean Alexander portrayed Hilda Ogden in the soap Coronation Street from 1964 to 1987. Instantly recogniseable, Hilda stands as one of the nations favourite TV characters and is remembered with the original Hilda Ogden Design. Jean Alexander sadly passed away in October 2016.

Inspired by my loyal and spunky Chihuahua/Rat Terrier, Hilda. I've never owned a dog who enjoys dressing up in various shirts and coats as much as she does! All I have to do is pick up one of her outfits, and she comes running over to put her head through the neck; she tries her best to put her arms through the sleeves too, but needs a little help with that bit. LOL
