Steve Sucks! Kids T-Shirt
Disco Kids T-Shirt
designed and sold by Shirts by Ben
In 1979, radio personality Steve Dahl headed up a racist, homophobic promotional event called "Disco Demolition" during a MLB doubleheader at Comiskey Park in Chicago. His idea: blow up disco LPs. Dahl had also made up a promo tee that read "Disco Sucks" in the typeface "Shatter". This shirt—a direct spoof on the original—is being sold because disco, in fact, rules. Initially, I made the design for my wife but a few other people said they'd buy one and I thought maybe I could raise a few bucks for a Chicago-based nonprofit. So, all profits from the sale of this shirt will go to Young Authors Chicago. Read on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disco_Demolition_Night https://youngchicagoauthors.org
