Description: A design where the graphic elements are repurposed images from a book published in the 1800’s no longer under any copyright restriction according to the British Library where this volume is held. The book is about Humour, Wit, & Satire of the Seventeenth Century. “Party like it’s 1699” was added by me. The images have been edited by me to remove the background colour, it has been desaturated and the tone darkened. The text is written in a font called prince valiant which is free for commercial use, The source graphics may be repurposed freely and can be found here
Description: An Attack Against One Is An Attack Against All... The Black Panther Party fought against police brutality, promoted activism that organized, educated and fed their community while being mercilessly hunted by the FBI. While this history might be new to many, it isn’t to the activists who have inherited many aspects of their work from the Panthers: their socialist ideals and focus on grassroots organizing. On a larger scale, some of the ideas that the Black Panthers espoused—including prison abolition—have begun making their way into mainstream discourse. The Slaughter of Black People Must Be Stopped!
