GDSF 2015 - Gigantic Kids T-Shirt

GDSF 2015 - Gigantic Number of views as of 17th January 2018 = 1220. A 1912 McLaren road haulage locomotive, originally built for Port Adelaide Corporation in South Australia. Bought for 50 quid in 1978 and shipped to the UK in a container. Much restoration work followed before the engine was finished in its current War Department livery to represent one of the 55 locomotives built by McLaren for use during the First World War for relocating heavy artillery. Seen here at the Great Dorset Steam Fair 2015 at Tarrant Hinton, near Blandford, working up a head of steam, coupled with another McLaren 'Boadicea' and hauling a low-loader carrying a railway locomotive.
