I lived in a small town by Stuttgart/Germany for a few years. The landscape around there is very beautiful. This painting shows the Hohenlohe Open Air Museum in Schwaebisch Hall-Wackersdorf. It is painted with Da Vinci Watercolor tubes on Arches cold pressed paper.

This whimsical watercolor painting showcases the City Church St. Dionys in Esslingen by the Neckar river. Not far from Stuttgart. It is considered high gothic architecture. I took some artistic liberties.

I just wanted to show a friend some features of Photoshop when this picture "happened". I just took an interesting Lake Constance photo, added some layers with different colors and highlighted the lake surface. That's it. The result was surprisingly good (at least in my opinion), much more interesting than the original - that's why I did upload it here. The Hohenzollern Castle in the Danube valley in Sigmaringen, Germany is as famous as the Hohenzollern Castle atop a hill near Hechingen, Germany. Both castles can be visited.
