The Mewstone is a small island off the south Devon coast, near the village of Wembury. At certain times of the year, the National Trust bring Dartmoor ponies to the area, to graze on the coastal grassland. This helps with bio-diversity.

These lovely creatures have free rein on the Moor and wander where they like including on the roads, so lease be careful when driving over Dartmoor.
