Original drawing measures 8-1/2" x 11". It was drawn with a black ink pen on a sepia colored paper. A little ladybug rests on one of the bamboo branches.

Jonah Complex. This was drawn using a dip-nib-pen and india ink, along with liner pen. Like most of my drawings, it was unplanned; the image emerged as I went along. The title is an afterthought, and barely relevant. Were it not for the fish it might have been called something else.

This horsey image is based on a drawing I made in 7th grade art class (in 1976!) with india ink. It is the silhouette of the picture on a jigsaw puzzle I had at the time.

Enter! The Microdot Man. This is an india ink drawing, done with a dip-nib pen on Studioline board. Studioline board provided an excellent surface for drawing upon; you could even do some scratching out. It's very slightly smaller than A4. © Brian Benson 1990
