Another painting from my archive of photos of travels past. This one is the pub on the beach at Morfa Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsula of North Wales. Its approached from across the beach, but there is another way in at high tide - so no excuse for getting stuck there! I believe the rather rude sounding name translates into English as 'red house inn'. Painted in oil on a 16x12 inch board

Some of you may recognise this little lamb from a previous submission. I thought I'd try the "original photo":http://www.redbubble.com/people/ah64d/works/8703460-at-home-with-the-lleyns on another site, but it was rejected because of 'distractions'. Have had a go at removing the distractions, but I'm no editing wizard. So will it be rejected again? ... time will tell. I prefer the 'as is' version because it's natural, but they reckon it's not professional to have the bits of wood and baling twine - no pleasing some folk :) Here's Lleyny Lamb without the distractions ... Hells Mouth / Porth Neigwl on the Llyn, a beautiful broad sweep of sand and a great surf beach

Photographers are two a penny these days... almost everybody has some kind of shooting device... some state of the art... some not... but what gets my goat, and is really irritating to me ~ is that not a lot of Wildlife Photography is truly that... WILD ! I've seen some superb wildlife photography presentations with some people making a lot of money selling and presenting their images... only to find out that their images were acquired whilst on a paid shoot somewhere, where the birds of prey 'are baited with fish' to deliver some stunning rapid fire 'burst action' photography... Well, all I could do was marvel... but here's the thing... Personally, and on a very personal level... I don't see this as truly being *Wildlife Pho...

A man stands looking out to sea from the rock storm breaker formations amidst a warm and beautiful sunset background... This image was deliberately adjusted in pre and post work to get the effect I was looking for here with coastline shape being the leading factor and colours implicating ozone, pollutants and ionizing rays coming from the setting sun... Hope this makes sense to everybody... I think... It is 'nitrous oxide particles' from burning diesel and petrol in fossil fuel driven cars - which create these wonderful sunsets we keep on having - even if we do live in a cold climate... So now what?
