We visited Portland, Oregon, for a week one summer and drove up the coast to explore the beach. It was stunning and majestic the whole way.

Waves crash upon California's Pacific Ocean Coast

Is a member of the salmonoid family and are native to the North Pacific Ocean and the river systems of western North America, ranging from California to Alaska, as well as Asian rivers ranging from northern Japan to the Palyavaam River in the Arctic northeast Siberia. They spawn in rivers spawn in larger and deeper waters than other salmon species and can be found on the spawning nests from September to December.
