A collection of Japanese parasols and fans. The Japanese umbrellas are made from oil paper and take anywhere from one to three months to make these colorful parasols. The Japanese folding hand held fans are called sensu. These fans are usually decorated with colorful scenes or caligraphy.

As part of Funguary 2023, I made these weird and cute little Pixie Parasols; I love the little nubs they start as. (Also they glow)

This imposing English Heritage building on the seafront of Teignmouth in Devon, UK, was built in 1826 and used as assembly and reading rooms for the gentry. Later it was turned into a cinema complex - and recently 5 big luxury holiday appartments were added on the top.
