Description: Battle Beasts are 2″ tall anthropomorphic animal action figures that originated in Japan in 1986 as 'Beastformers,' as an attempted spin-off of popular transforming robots at the time. When the line came to America, they were called Battle Beasts, to better reflect the 'rock, paper, scissors' game that could be played with them. These nicely detailed action figures were based on animals and equipped with body armor and a weapon. In addition, their chest armor included a heat sensitive sticker that would reveal one of three elements – fire, wood, or water. Later, an invincible symbol known as the Sunburst as be released, and became a true chase item, as having a Sunburst warrior amongst your Battle Beasts, you would never lose!
Description: Peaches Records & Tapes was a Los Angeles-based chain of record superstores, some as large as 15,000 square feet. They were known for its vast selection, with many locations in buildings the size of a typical grocery store, reportedly stocking $500,000 in inventory. Peaches were also known for in-store events with bands and artists, huge murals of the latest album covers on the side of its buildings and for selling records from fruit-crates. The first store opened on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles in 1975 and later that year, a second was opened in Atlanta. At its peak, Peaches had 50 stores in 22 cities with over 2,000 employees. In June 1981, Peaches filed a petition for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 citing $20 million in debt.
Description: Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is a 1985 cartoon series that ran for 65 thirty-minute episodes, was created to support the Wheeled Warriors toy line. The toy line actually came out first, and featured an array of action figures, vehicles, and play sets. The vehicles featured interchangeable elements, allowing kids to design and build their own creations. The show didn't reflect the toy line very well, which didn't help the already poor toy sales. Due to less than successful toy sales, the series' 65-episode run was not extended, and the series ended unresolved. A movie had also been commissioned along with the series, following in the footsteps of other toy-based animated series, and was intended to wrap up the story.

The label owned several divisions, including Federal Records, which launched the career of James Brown. It released original material until 1975. Initially King specialized in country music, at the time known as hillbilly music. King advertised, "If it's a King, It's a Hillbilly – If it's a Hillbilly, it's a King." One of the label's hits was "I'm Using My Bible for a Road Map" by Reno and Smiley. Important recordings in this field were done by the Delmore Brothers and Wayne Raney. The Delmores and Moon Mullican played a country-boogie style that was similar to rockabilly.

Description: If you remember these, you are cool. If you still have some, you are beyond cool. A 45 rpm adapter (also known as a 45 rpm record insert, 45 rpm spindle adapter, spider, or 7-inch adapter in reference the usual size of a 45 rpm record) is a small plastic or metal insert that goes in the middle of a 45-rpm record so it can be played on the standard size spindle of a turntable. The adapter may be a small solid circle that fits onto the spindle (meaning only one 45 could be played at a time) or a larger adapter that fits over the entire spindle of a record changer, permitting a stack of 45s to be played.

Description: The 1969 Hurst/Olds again used the 455-cid V-8 with W-30 heads, cam, distributor, and Force-Air induction. This engine, called the W-46, was slightly detuned from ’68, losing 10 bhp. A H/O modified Turbo Hydra-matic transmission with console-shifted Hurst Dual-Gate was mandatory. As high performance raced into the wacky late ’60s, the idea of a mad scientist conjuring up ever-more-potent 4-4-2s seemed almost reasonable, and Olds advertising was rife with the image of Dr. Oldsmobile in his baggy lab coat and silent-movie mustache. In a sense, there really was such a fellow: Jack “Doc” Watson, head of research for Hurst Performance Products.
