I PAINTED THIS PICTURE JUST AFTER THE SILVER JUBILEE IN 1977, I WAS SERVING AS A THAMES POLICEMAN AT THE TIME. BRITANNIA CAME UP TO TAKE PART IN THE QUEENS SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS AND I THOUGHT IT FITTING TO PAINT THIS LARGE 3 FOOT BY 4 FOOT CANVAS OF THE OCCASION, BUT I REGRETTED SELLING IT AT THE TIME, SO HERE IN 2020, I DECIDED TO PAINT IT AGAIN, BUT ADDING THE COMMISSIONERS LAUNCH AND MORE DETAIL TO TOWER BRIDGE AND THE BACKGROUND..

I travel to London at least once a year and meet up with my two lovely daughters, Lisa left and Natasha right. We like to go to Wapping as I used to live and work there and it's nostalgic.
