A digital drawing of RFAS 'Argus' lying off the coast of Bournemouth. The original image was captured from the pier during the Bournemouth Air Show. The vessel started its life as a container ship following its launch in 1981. Shortly afterwards, during the Falklands War in 1982 it was taken into service by the Royal Navy. In 1985 it became an aviation training ship before being converted to a Primary Casualty Recovery Ship. A full and varied life then!!
