An elf (plural: elves) is a type of humanoid supernatural being in Germanic mythology and folklore (especially North Germanic mythology and folklore). In medieval Germanic-speaking cultures, elves generally seem to have been thought of as beings with magical powers and supernatural beauty, ambivalent towards everyday people and capable of either helping or hindering them. Tolkien-style Elves have become a staple of fantasy literature both in the West and in Japan. They have appeared, too, in film and role-playing game adaptations of Tolkien's works.

This is fan art I did cuz I'm a big fanatic of the lord of the ring trilogy, I hope you guys like it.

Way after the Peter Jackson trilogy of The hobbit, this was one of most intense and epic moments of the book! Imagine Bard yelling at the middle of the battle: "Arrow! Black arrow! I have saved you to the last. You have never failed me and always I have recovered you. I had you from my father and he from of old. If ever you came from the forges of the true king under the Mountain, go now and speed well!" And then BAMMM!! Critical hit to Smaug's Heart!!
