French fashion designer who, in 1961, founded his eponymous fashion label. He is regarded as being among the foremost fashion designers in the twentieth century.

Close to the chaos that is central Marrakesh, there is a peaceful area of Majorelle Gardens. One of the many surprises in Morocco. The Majorelle Garden is a two and half acre botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was created by the French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923, and features a Cubist villa designed by the French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930s. Was owned by Yves Saint Laurent. Vibrant blues and yellows make this a well photographed location. This composite is my attempt to capture the colours, shapes and design of Majorelle Gardens.
