A History Written in the Stars - Galaxy Chimera Long Sleeve T-Shirt

Greek mythology says that the chimera was a fire breathing hybrid creature composed of a lion with the head of a goat on its back and a tail ending in a snake’s head. The term has since come to describe any type of monstrous animal made up of parts from various beasts. For my interpretation, I tried to mostly recreate the original form, though I moved the head of the goat to a more anatomically appropriate (and aesthetically pleasing) place beside the lion’s head. The colors I used reference Greek red and black figure pottery on which many ancient chimera illustrations have been found.
