Inspired by the masks worn by the creepy doctors in the "A Criminal Mind" music video from 1985

A concept for a (promo?) poster that was floating around in my head, inspired by Gowan in his new Criminal Mind Costume that he rolled out during his recent solo tour. I'm also trying to go for the 'animated movie poster' style for the colours on this - think any of Don Bluth's film's posters or even a more obscure one like Nelvana's "Rock & Rule"(where the other main inspiration spark came from for this!) "They Tried To Reform Me...." Decided to render up a graphic thing based on the sign alluded to in the beginning of the video - and now also graphic novel - for "A Criminal Mind" by Gowan Found what font was used originally by putting a screenshot of the plaque through a font identification app, then it grew from there... Used both realism and comic book elements in this (realistic shading on the typography and comic-book-esque linework for the rest) Linework and typography rendering done on my laptop, colourization and other elements finished on my phone - both in Autodesk sketchbook . Colors end up being more vivid on my phone anyways.
