Raggedy Man is the kind of doll that will take you out for a nice fish and custard dinner then never call you again! Give him about 10 years and he'll come crawlin' back saying he's a changed man or some junk. But he's really just into your crack and will leave you for YOUR OWN EFFIN' DAUGHTER!! What a jerk!

When I was younger, my sister and I used to build big forts out of blankets and fill them with all the stuff animals and dolls she had. It always ended in a fight where we beat each other up with stuffed animals. She's meaner than me, so we had to make a rule. No hard-headed dolls allowed in the fort. Annabelle is a Raggedy Ann doll said by Ed and Lorraine Warren to be haunted. The pair describe themselves as paranormal investigators and demonologists. The doll resides in a glass box at The Warrens' Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. The story served as inspiration for the opening scene of The Conjuring (2013), as well as its spin-offs: Annabelle (2014), Annabelle: Creation (2017), and upcoming Annabelle Comes Home (2019). The doll made a brief appearance in James Wan's Aquaman (2018) and in The Conjuring 2 (2016). Annabelle has been compared to Robert the Doll and was described in Gerald Brittle's 2002 biography of Ed and Lorraine Warren, The Demonologist.

'May God Have Mercy On Your Soul' The Annabelle Design is inspired by the real life story of a doll named Annabelle that came to be in the hands of renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and the franchise of movies that the story inspired. According to the Warrens, in 1968, two roommates claimed their Raggedy Ann doll was possessed by the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle Higgins. According to the Warrens the doll was "being manipulated by an inhuman presence", and put it on display at the family's "Occult Museum". The legend of the doll has inspired several films in the Conjuring Universe and is a recurring leitmotif in many others.
