Toei Company, Ltd. (東映株式会社 Tōei Kabushiki-gaisha) (/toʊ.eɪ/) (also styled TOEI) is a Japanese film, television production, and distribution and Video game developer and publisher corporation. Based in Tokyo, Toei owns and operates thirty-four movie theaters across Japan, studios at Tokyo and Kyoto; and is a shareholder in several television companies. He's the partner Digimon of the main protagonist, Tai Kamiya (Taichi Yagami in Japanese), and is known for his courage, loyalty, and his signature attack, Pepper Breath, where he shoots fireballs from his mouth. Throughout the series, Agumon evolves into more powerful forms, such as Greymon, MetalGreymon, and eventually WarGreymon. He's one of the most iconic and beloved characters in the Digimon universe.
