The vineyard (Like everything else on Magpie Springs) when we took it on in 2013 required EXTENSIVE work!!....its taken 5 yrs to get on top of the vineyard..... We have resuscitated the vines now!... When we came the posts were rotten the wires were broken the irrigation didn't work, the vines badly needed feeding - nothing worked but we knew the plants themselves with TLC would recover... they needed a LOT of work! These are some of the Cordons removed to produce healthy growth. We literally had tons and tons of these piles to burn during winter.
