Cherish meals with loved ones. Go for brisk walks around your neighborhood or simply throw a ball to get the juices flowing. That short story or novel that's been a splinter in your mind like forever--write it. The key is to keep busy and short-term goals. Do refrain from sitting at the edge of the bed in the same pjs all week, and, absolutely no standing in front of windows, transfixed with your mouth agape.
