The tattoos of a beautiful female samurai assassin named Oyuki. The red demon was on her chest and the witch was on her back (it was removed and preserved after her death). Oyuki would expose the tattoos during battles to frighten and distract her opponents to great success.

This design was inspired by the 2016 Netflix blockbuster series, Stranger Things.
To anyone who hasn't heard or seen the show and is a fan of the 80s, you will not be disappointed. The series is a love letter to movies such as: THE GOONIES, POLTERGEIST, JAWS, ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, E.T., and many more. It's set in the early 80's so that magical, innocent vibe is lived out through the tweenagers, clothing, set pieces and fantastic synth and pop hits of the era.

The 80s classic martial arts slugfest pitting fighters of different styles in a secret underground tournament hosted by the Triads in Hong Kong. Exciting right? You betcha! Not only is the action choreography top notch, the music, one-liners and cast of colorful characters combine to make this a cult favorite many times over.
Here I have illustrated each character in their signature pose from a particular scene which I consider most memorable. Enjoy browsing and a trip down memory lane!

Nobody brought energy in an entrance to the ring like the Warrior! Like a lightning bolt, he struck down upon foes and raised his massive arms in victory. RAHHH!
It was in 1974 that André René Roussimoff who wrestled as Jean Ferre, became the world famous, Andre The Giant. In Japan, where he wrestled for NJPW as a villain, he gave his best performances there and still was a fan favorite back home in the US.
Ricky Steamboat returns as The Dragon in full costume and sets the wrestling world on fire, literally, in the early 90s by breathing fire 20-30 feet up above.
Ricky The Dragon Steamboat and Jake The Snake Robert's match on Saturday Night's Main Event in October of 1986 is one of the all time greatest matches in my opinion.
The rivalry, the storytelling, the ring drama, the wrestling moves, and the suspense (what was in the bag in Ricky's corner) made it 100% 'must-see TV'.
This design was inspired by one of the greatest action movies to come out of the 80s. Commando. It has no morals, no lessons to teach, no political statements, just pure vengeance to the scumbags that kidnapped John Matrix's beloved daughter. He doesn't try to reason with the bad guys or take precautions like most action heroes would. He just goes on a rampage and kills everyone in sight until his daughter is safe in his arms again. Now that's a good daddy!

Tribute to my favorite karate series, season 4 between the never-ending saga of Johnny and Daniel.
Every character and movie in this groupshot was mentioned and referenced in season 4.
Only 3 characters were left out to keep it badass!
These characters were inspired by the 1986 cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China.
There's Jack Burton (2nd variation without weapons) as the big goofball all American trucker who believes he's the hero everybody needs and the villainous, Lo Pan who is a powerful wizard cursed with no flesh and is seven feet tall. Then there is little old, Egg Shen with his six demon bag who is equally a powerful wizard and Lo Pan's eternal nemesis.
The only female is the lovely, spirited Gracie Law who is a lawyer from Chinatown protecting immigrant rights and lastly, the true hero of the bunch is Wang Chi. His pursuit to rescue his beloved Miao Yin is what all the trouble is about.
The assassin with son who roams Japan lending his skill and child for work. The little boy keeps count of his father's kills and it stands here at 345.

This design was inspired by the 1987 sci-fi cult classic Robocop. The characters from left to right: Steve Minh, Leon Nash, Clarence Boddicker, Joe Cox and Emil Antonowsky form the despicable, ruthless Boddicker gang.
What makes these guys so hated and memorable is half the time they're not causing chaos and mayhem they're laughing and having a good 'ole time.
