Harlow was a small community just west of State Highway 34 about four miles south of Greenville in central Hunt County, Texas. The settlement began in the late 1800s by the Harlow family and had just one business, the Harlow General Store, which opened in 1890. The store supplied the small population of the town and those passing through along the highway, and also was an outlet for the Harlow family's crops. The town itself was shown on county highway maps beginning in the '30s, and by the '80s, the community all but disappeared, both from maps and from the northeastern Texas landscape.

Overman Tire Company began business in the late 1890 manufacturing OEM bicycle tires for bike manufacturers. Overman changed with the times, expanding their line to include the manufacturing of the solid rubber tires used on trucks in their early years, and later heavy duty tubed tires that were extremely popular with fleet owners. Marketed as "the world's best tire," Overman's were known for being tough as nails and were standard equipment on most fire trucks. This is where their devil mascot originated, showing that their tires were tough enough to dance with the devil in the flames of fire fighting.

Wounded Knee, located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in southwestern South Dakota, was the site of two conflicts between North American Indians and representatives of the U.S. government. An 1890 massacre left some 150 Native Americans dead, in what was the final clash between federal troops and the Sioux. In 1973, members of the American Indian Movement occupied Wounded Knee for 71 days to protest conditions on the reservation. This design is a reclaimed thrift store find that we've painstakingly recreated to remain true to the original marking the 100-year anniversary of the 1890 massacre at Wounded Knee.

Modesto Teixidor y Torres was a Spanish painter of portraiture, landscape and traditional themes. He also did history painting. This beautiful work has been remastered into stunning technicolor for a fresh new vibe.

The horses in Remington’s painting thunder towards us, kicking up clouds of dust. Chaos seems imminent, but this military maneuver is well practiced. In every group of troopers, three dismount to pursue the battle while the fourth leads the riderless steeds to safety. Each animal is distinctly different, but the mustachioed troopers look alike, all seemingly based on the same model. Despite its realistic detail, this picture is a work of historical fiction rather than a record of an actual battle on the western frontier.

Jackson Brewing Company was a regional brewery operating in New Orleans, from 1890 to 1974. The brewery was founded by Lawrence Fabacher in 1890 as Jackson Bohemian Brewery; its name was later changed to Jax Beer, and finally Jackson Brewing Company, after Andrew Jackson and Jackson Square. It soon grew to be a prominent regional brewery, and at its height, it was the largest brewery in the south, and was one of two New Orleans breweries to survive Prohibition. Its French Quarter brewery remains a landmark in New Orleans, as after brewing operations ceased, the facility was turned into a mixed use space containing residences, shops, and restaurants.
