This design was culled from an NOS iron-on simply labeled 'Axe Killer' with a 1976 issue date, digitized, restored, and then destroyed to perfection. It's kind of like a crone/witch type character, but the clothing gives more of a male impression and s(he) is carrying an axe that is dripping blood over a bright yellow circle. The backstory is probably lost with the sands of time, but if you're a true vintage t-shirt connoisseur, this one's unadulterated strangeness is no doubt right up your alley.
