Caboose Magnets

Do you remember?

Would you call this a tale of the traveling dog? Or a train(ed) pup? I was day tripping along the main street of a small town around the GTA of Ontario Canada. I took my dog Lucky down a side street with camera in hand. Just to see what I could find. When I came across this heritage red caboose in a train yard of course I had to try something. It was a hot day and Lucky enjoyed the shade! Love the colour.

This image is of the trains and rolling stock of the Toronto Railway Museum, which is located in Roundhouse Park, near the CN Tower. It was an overcast but clear winter's day with just a bit of snow on the ground, I was really taken with the juxtaposition of the old railway equipment with the gleaming, modern tower buildings behind. What really made it was the appropriately named Steam Whistle Brewery, just on the right, which is in the old roundhouse building.
