Century Plant In Arizona Magnets

The Century Plant, commonly found in the deserts of Arizona, is considered a cultivated succulent. The plant has large clumps of fleshy strap-shaped leaves to 6 feet long with hooked spines along the edges and a wicked spine at the tip, blue green in color. After 10 years or more, the plant produces a branched 15-40 ft. The flower stalk bears yellowish green flower and has several varieties with yellow or white striped leaves.
