Frankston Magnets
Description: Frankston in Victoria has always had a bit of swagger about it. Beachside, a little rough around the edges, and absolutely not interested in pretending to be anything it is not, Frankston has its own kind of charm. It is the sort of place that mixes coastal lifestyle with local attitude, where the sunsets are gorgeous and the reputation only adds to the personality. This design leans into that pride with a retro look that says you know exactly what Frankston is, and that is half the fun.
Description: Why settle for a quiet scattering when your final journey could involve a custom-built trebuchet, a waterfront countdown and a reasonably impressive arc over Port Phillip Bay? Frankston Final Fling is the completely fictional funeral service specialising in unique send-offs with more airtime than the dearly departed probably expected. Perfect for Frankston locals, medieval-engineering enthusiasts and anyone who believes “rest in peace” should occasionally be followed by “three, two, one, release!” Fun fact: Unlike a catapult, a trebuchet launches its payload using the gravitational force created by a falling counterweight.
Description: Some restaurants pair wine with food. Frankstonstein pairs schnitzels with theatrical lightning and lets a reanimated monster handle the beer service. Featuring Beer, Brats, Schnitzels, Cabaret, Shows and Events, it’s the perfect fictional venue for anyone who likes their hospitality German, gothic and just slightly unhinged. Cool fact: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein was first published anonymously in 1818, when she was only 20 years old.
