I thought I would put this on my site. I painted this when I was 15 maybe. We used to live up on Olivers HIll which is Frankston Melbourne. My Father bought this car for my mother, that little orange bug down in the car park. I wanted to paint her car for her, so I painted the view off the deck and put her car in it. She loved it at the time. Now Olivers Hill looks so different. This is a large painting of the very popular Gateway to the Peninsula, OLIVERS HILL. I have the pleasure of driving up and down this scenic view every single day of my life. I was born in this town Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula will always be my home. The painting took many months, probably 6 months to complete. The photograph took some daredevil cliff climbing to get the right view. This painting will be for sale at the SORRENTO ART SHOW 2020.
