Image Wizard Photo Restoration Com Magnets

The core of the rose bud reminded me of a heart so I wanted to highlight the heart and the red. For this image I used a picture of some wood grain to blend down into the rose image. From there - removing the wood grain to show the rose. On the wood grain I applied a filter and added some texture. Work was done in Photoshop CS2.

Shot came from Crab Orchard nature preserve west of Marion, Illinois.

Most of the time we see these fields as a blur in our peripheral vision. The Rural Views series will those scenes you see as you go down the highway but don't have the time to stop and just enjoy the moment. This is a small field in southern Illinois near where I live.

One element of photography that I enjoy a lot is being able to bring home these "Small Gems" that I find along my travels. They allow me to enjoy the moment far beyond what I'm able to physically stay at any given spot. There has been so many times that I have to just keep going on by and even miss them altogether.

I saw this car at a car show in Murphysboro Illinois.

I work with a Nikon D5000 camera and use both Corel and Photoshop editing programs.

The painting itself was a class project done maybe 2008.

This is some of the cool natural scenery that Southern Illinoisans get to enjoy when taking the back roads. I really enjoy the road trips that my brother and I get to take - all in the sake of taking pictures! Do I ever enjoy my job!
