I painted this a while back after a very long break from painting. I just wanted to do something fun - just let my inner child play. I didn't like the resulting painting, and kind of ruined it. But before ruining it, I took a photo of it and enhanced it, made it brighter. Now I kind of like it, sort of. Well, anyway, maybe it will make an interesting greeting card at least. Watercolour, 1/4 sheet watercolour paper. What would be another good title. I thought at first Rainbowland.

Both a map and a maze a the same time

This is a duotone essential and minimalist poster of the movie La La Land. The film is written and directed by Damien Chazelle and the cast is mainly formed by Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. It is an american musical romantic comedy-drama that narrates the story of a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress, who meet and fall in love while pursuing their dreams in Los Angeles.
